OUR HISTORY
WTNM Florist Association, Inc. was "born" at a meeting in Lubbock, Texas on March 13, 1954.
The first organizational meeting was held in Amarillo, Texas and was attended by about 40 people from a geographic region bounded roughly by Albuquerque, El Paso, San Angelo, Brownwood, Waco, Dallas, Fort Worth, Childress and Amarillo. The association began with a total budget of $1,385.00 that had been pledged by sixty-three firms, including six wholesalers in amounts from $10.00 to $100.00.
